What is Unicorn Scoops? why it’s a magical solar powered – ice cream bicycle located in Guelph, Ontario.
Unicorn Scoops rides majestically through neighbourhoods selling scooped Kawartha ice cream and frozen novelties to citizens who are out and about enjoying recreational activities.
Unicorn Scoops is owned and operated by local Guelph resident LEah Nielsen.
LEah works in the Upper Grand District school board as both a supply teacher and educational assistant. LEah wanted to create a business that combined all the things she loves – ice cream, biking, the environment, and of course, unicorns!

Unicorn Scoops is a solar powered electric ice cream bicycle that creates zero emissions because it uses zero fossil fuels. We try to lessen environmental impact further by using biodegradable ice cream cups and spoons. For catered events we offer a waste-less option where everything is edible – spoon and all!

Want a wedding that wows but doesn’t hurt the environment? Book a waste-less option where plastic garbage is not used. Instead of plastic packaging everything is edible -you eat the entire thing!
